many of you have asked us what to give as a gift for our wedding. First of all, we are very happy to have you around. If you wish to give us a gift, we have a little poem to share with you for your inspiration:
We have the household basics, a kettle, mixer and toaste
Sheets, towels, dinner mats with the matching coasters.
So rather than give something that we’ve already got
Please consider giving us money for our saving pot.

Liebe Gäste,
vielfach wurden wir von euch kontaktiert, ob wir Wünsche für Geschenke zu unserer Hochzeit haben. Zunächst sind wir sehr glücklich, mit euch zu feiern. Darüberhinaus haben wir ein kleines Gedicht, das wir gerne für euch zur Inspiration teilen wollen:
Alle, die was möchten schenken,
bitten wir, doch zu bedenken,
dass unser Haushalt ist komplett.
Daher wäre es ganz nett,
wenn Ihr folget unsren Wünschen
nach viel Scheinen oder Münzen.
Denn viele Wünsch hab‘m wir noch,
doch im Sparstrumpf ist ein Loch.
